Double FBE outer coating thickness
Steel pipe epoxy powder coating thickness shall meet the design requirements of the pipeline project, design is not specified, the choice of reference according to the coating conditions specified below:
- Normal grade coating thickness requirements: The total coating thickness is greater than or equal to 620μm, for general environmental conditions laying, wherein the minimum thickness of the coating layer was 250μm, the surface layer has a minimum thickness of 370μm.
- to strengthen the level coating thickness requirements: The total coating thickness is greater than or equal to 800μm, suitable for laying special environmental conditions, wherein the minimum thickness of the coating layer is 300μm, the surface layer has a minimum thickness of 500μm.
- If the owner of the coating thickness have special requirements can be based on the thickness of the powder manufacturer's recommended requirements, but the ratio of the thickness of the bottom and the surface layer should be controlled at 1: 1.5: 2 to 1.
